Technical innovation competition
The National Agricultural Mechanisation Fair offers its exhibitors the Technical Novelty Competition. The initiative is part of a specific area of enhancing technical and technological innovation, in the name of increasing efficiency and sustainability of the equipment for working the land in mountain, plain and hill contexts. The proposed innovations will be examined by a technical commission set up specifically for the occasion. On the basis of the documentation provided by the manufacturer and in application of the Competition regulations, the Commission will award the winners. The prizes consist in the recognition of the title of "Technical Innovation" or "Technical Mention".
Technical Innovation Competition 2023
The companies that have obtained the awards of the 2023 Technical Innovation Competition of the MAG - 40th National Fair of Agricultural Mechanization of Savigliano come from the province of Cuneo, but also from 5 other Italian provinces.
This year the number has increased compared to the 7 awards of 2022: in fact, awards were given for 7 New Products and 5 Mentions to 12 different manufacturers of agricultural machinery identified by the Technical Commission of the competition The Granda province reigns supreme, with 6 award-winning companies: Agricold di Bolla Srl of Torre San Giorgio, Ambrogio Sas of Villanova Solaro, B.M.V. Srl of Alba, Boffa Costruzioni Meccaniche Sas Wgreen Tecnology of Diano d'Alba, Bravo Srl of Savigliano and Fissore Snc of Cavallermaggiore; awards also for Argo Tractors Spa of Fabbrico (Reggio Emilia), Arvatec Srl of Rescaldina (Milan), Fontana Srl of Crescentino (Vercelli), Frandent Group Srl of Osasco (Turin) and Dragone Srl of Castagnole Lanze (Asti), which take home a double prize.

Machine: HIGH EFFICIENCY PASTEURIZER
MOTIVATION:
The machine represents an innovation in the food heat treatment sector thanks to its high energy efficiency.
The improvement consists in not being bound to the temperature of the recirculating water to cool the contents of the pasteuriser, but in reaching temperature values close to zero with consequent benefits on the bacterial load of the treated product.
The result is a temperature reduction capacity without water consumption, with benefits on the quality of the final product.

MOTIVATION:
Self-propelled straw blower with adjustable discharge and loading capacity of one or more round bales for rapid chopping and straw distribution.
The self-propelled part, thanks to its innovative connection flange, can also be installed on trailed machines, already present in the company and if produced by Ambrogio, regardless of the model and year of construction.
Already having a towed straw blower, this can then be connected to the new driving part, becoming self-propelled.

Car: LANDINI TREKKER 4 WITH CAB
MOTIVATION:
Landini Trekker 4 with category 4 cab is equipped with an enhanced ventilation system capable of digitally controlling internal pressurization and activated carbon filters. The cabin, innovative in terms of aesthetics, ergonomics and technology, is therefore very comfortable. The Trekker4 cab therefore makes the tractor more compact also in terms of design.

MOTIVATION:
The machine, through the ISOBUS interface, allows to facilitate the transplanting works by managing the distance of the plants and always having the visualization of the work in progress.

Machine: MECHANICAL THINNER FOR ORCHARDS
MOTIVATION:
The machine, thanks to a combined action of rotation and oscillation of the sticks, with controlled effort, and adequate protection of the same, allows excellent thinning results. Furthermore, the oscillations of the rods are combined alternately, so as not to create vibrations on the structure of the entire tool.

Machine: AS-NOT: SELF-PROPELLED TOOL CARRIER WITH ELECTRIC POWER AND TRACTION
MOTIVATION:
The vehicle is powered by electric motors and actuators, thus allowing a reduction in environmental impact, both in terms of exhaust gas emissions and in relation to the possibility of pouring fuel or lubricants onto the ground and/or crops.
The machine also allows a strong reduction in noise emissions and, thanks to its small size, the possibility of working in sloping areas and/or in confined spaces even with reduced impact on the ground.

MOTIVATION:
The internal combustion engine has been replaced by a series of motors, inverters and accessory devices powered by batteries. All the main energy-intensive hydraulic functions have been converted into functions controlled directly by high-efficiency liquid-cooled permanent magnet electric motors. The hydraulic system has been reduced to the bare minimum to ensure basic functions and services. We have gone from a machine with a diesel engine with high consumption per year to an efficient and silent electric unifeed machine.

MOTIVATION:
The machine allows, thanks to a remote controlled shredding chamber adjustment system, to obtain types of products, finer or coarser, as required by subsequent uses, significantly reducing fuel consumption in cases of coarser shredding.

MOTIVATION:
The machine, carried at the rear and activated by the tractor's power take-off, works in the in-line area thanks to an advanced support arm of the shredding head.
The management of the header allows precise combinations even on transversal slopes or on land characterized by steps between the rows. Thanks to the management software and the sensor, the machine acts autonomously on the adjustments by increasing, decreasing or varying the thrust angle of the head in order to obtain optimal processing even in prohibitive conditions.
